After a month of hectic scheduling and some players who need the rest, the Crescenta Valley varsity boys’ basketball team has completed its summer league season. The Falcons went 17-7 while playing games in the San Fernando Valley, St. Francis, Burbank High School and Glendale Community College. The last tournament they played in was held at the University of San Diego from last Friday to Sunday, where they won four games and lost two.

For the junior varsity Falcons, they were 11-2 heading into their final game on Tuesday. The JV won its first eight games of summer, including a perfect record against Eagle Rock, La Cañada, Hoover and Alhambra High School in the Glendale Community College Tournament on June 18 and June 19. Last week the team went 4-1 in the St. Jon Bosco Tournament.

The teams are now off until school starts in August, when practice will resume and some fall league games will take place.
