California Highway Patrol responded to a traffic collision on Tuesday night at about 9:11 p.m. at the northbound Glendale (2) Freeway off-ramp. The accident involved a 2008 Nissan sedan and a 2005 Ford sedan. One person complained of pain afterward.
The driver of the Nissan initially walked away from the scene and was located by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Dept. at the Crescenta -Cañada YMCA in the 1900 block of Foothill Boulevard, according to CHP Officer Bejar.
The Nissan driver was arrested on charges of driving under the influence and booked into the Glendale Police Dept. jail.
The freeway off-ramp was temporarily closed while CHP investigated the accident.
