Beach Bus is in Full Swing
Thanks to Supervisor Michael Antonovich and the County of Los Angeles, you can once again ride the Summer Beach Bus! The Beach Bus picks up passengers from several places in the Crescenta Valley and takes them to and from the Santa Monica Pier to enjoy a great day at the beach. The best part is you don’t have to drive and hassle with the traffic, look for a parking space and pay the $12 fee to park. It drops you off right next to the pier so not only can you enjoy playing in the water and lying in the sun, but you can head to the pier for games, rides and food. Passengers can board the Summer Beach Bus now through Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 5 on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Labor Day. Space is limited for the Beach Bus so you must make reservations! It’s easy to plan ahead because you can make a reservation up to 10 days in advance. To make a reservation, log onto www.lagobus.info. You only pay $3 per person to the bus driver when you get on the bus. Just a reminder: Anyone under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
Here are the schedules for pick up and drop off. Pick up: Two Strike Park/Rosemont Ave. at 9:15 a.m.; La Crescenta Library/Foothill Boulevard at 9:25 a.m.; Montrose Avenue/Ocean View Boulevard (southeast corner) at 9:35 a.m.
