National Panhellenic Conference (NPC), one of the largest advocacy organizations for women, announced that 50 Alumnae Panhellenic Associations are being recognized with citations of merit. Among the recipients of a citation of merit is the Glendale Area Alumnae Panhellenic. Citations of Merit recognize achievement by active Alumnae Panhellenics in areas of panhellenic spirit, undergraduate relations and recruitment information
An Alumnae Panhellenic is a community-based organization comprised of members from NPC’s 26 member organizations. The purpose of these organizations is to inform sorority women of current trends, promote the sorority experience, improve the lifelong Panhellenic image and stimulate a continuing interest in related affairs.
NPC has acknowledged Alumnae Panhellenics for its devotion to meet specific criteria and expectations.
“Alumnae Panhellenics play a vital role in providing sorority women with opportunities to collaborate, no matter the badge worn, for a lifetime,” said Panhellenics Chairman Frances Mitchelson. “These award recipients model the values of lifelong friendship and service in their communities and for collegiate women on nearby campuses.”
