While many enjoyed barbecued hamburgers and hot dogs this past Labor Day, hundreds flocked down to the L.A. Waterfront for the weekend’s L.A. Fleet Week. The four-day, free, family-fun event had activities for just about everyone. Whether a military buff or science and technology explorer, lover of music or just out for a day of fun and relaxation, visitors found plenty of entertaining and educational things to do Sept. 2-5.

On the roster of activities was touring an active military ship, enjoying free entertainment and fireworks and indulging in some tasty fare. L.A. Fleet Week was promoted as Los Angeles’ new end-of-summer tradition at the L.A. Waterfront.
