5400 block of Pineridge Drive in La Crescenta, a resident reported selling music CDs to a man described as Hispanic in his 30s, 5’5” tall with a medium build. It was later found that he had paid with a counterfeit bill. The bill given to the resident was more than the costs of the CDs and the man was given change. The resident realized the bill was counterfeit before the man left. She called out to him but he drove away.
The incident occurred at 12:30 p.m.

4900 block of Alminar Avenue in La Cañada, three packages were stolen from the front porch of a residence between 11:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Sept. 14
4000 block of Commonwealth Avenue in La Cañada, a person/persons stole two packages from a front porch of a residence between 1 p.m. and 6 p.m.
Sept. 13
2300 block of Henrietta Avenue in La Crescenta, a man put a box containing wine on his front porch and entered his home. When he returned he found the box had been stolen. The suspect that was seen in the area is described as a male Asian in his 20s with dark wavy hair and at the time was wearing a black jacket with white lettering and black pants. He left the area in a silver mid-size vehicle. The box with the wine was later found undamaged in the middle of the street on Cinco Casitas, west of Briggs Avenue.
The incident occurred at 3:15 p.m.
4600 block of Castle Road in La Cañada, mail was stolen and the lock on a mailbox was damaged overnight.
2000 block of Tondolea Lane in La Cañada, a mailbox was vandalized/damaged overnight.
5400 block of Palm Drive in La Cañada, mail was stolen and a mailbox was vandalized/damaged overnight.
4600 block of Castle Road in La Cañada, mail was stolen and a mailbox was vandalized/damaged overnight.

5500 block of Pineglen Road a residence was burglarized and a purse was stolen between 3:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.
800 block of Flintridge Avenue in La Cañada, mail was stolen and a mailbox was vandalized/damaged between Sept. 12 and
Sept. 10
1600 block of Earlmont Avenue in La Cañada, a mailbox was vandalized/damaged between Sept. 10 and Sept. 12.
