Like every summer, Dorothee Kruegermann’s son doesn’t leave town without the CV Weekly.

This past summer he visited Petra Bube-Schmidt and her family in East Germany in the “Erzgebirge” near the Czech border. Thirteen years ago Petra became his godmother when he was baptized at Lutheran Church in the Foothills. Here he is with Petra and her kids Anne, Sarah and David.
