The Commission on Accreditation for Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) International announced that The Campbell Center (TCC) has been awarded accreditation for a term of the maximum possible, three years, through August 2019 for its three key programs including Community Employment Services: Employment Supports; Community Employment Services: Job Development; and, Organization Employment Services.

CARF accreditation is the gold standard by which service providers such as TCC are measured on the efficiency, effectiveness and quality of their service delivery to the populations they serve. Through the process of the accreditation survey, TCC goes through a rigorous peer review process with concrete demonstrations to a team of CARF surveyors during their on-site visit that its programs and services adhere to the highest degree of quality, measurability and accountability.

In his congratulatory letter to TCC, Dr. Brian J. Boon, president and CEO of CARF International stated, “Your organization should take pride in achieving this high level of accreditation,” adding that the achievement “is an indication of your organization’s dedication and commitment to improving the quality of the lives of the persons served.”

This is the fourth time in the past 12 years that The Campbell Center has been awarded CARF’s maximum possible three-year accreditation.

Founded in 1954 by Phyllis and Jerry Campbell, parents to a daughter with Down syndrome, the mission of The Campbell Center is to partner with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, empowering them to successfully gain independence and attain their desired outcomes through opportunity and choice.
