Glendale Police officers along with Crescenta Valley Sheriff and Los Angeles Police enjoyed a cup of coffee and conversation with residents at the monthly Glendale Coffee with the COPPS (COmmunity Police PartnerShip). On Tuesday the coffee was freshly made and served at City Hall Café on Honolulu Avenue in Montrose. Law enforcement and city officials from throughout the foothills often stop by to talk to residents about their concerns from burglaries to traffic issues. The program had been on an extended hiatus until Glendale community officer Matt Zakarian started it up again. Since then the community has embraced the opportunity to discuss their neighborhood issues.
