Valley View PTA held its annual Harvest Carnival on Friday, Sept. 30. Parents and students participated in games, rock climbing, cakewalks and hula hoop contests ensuring a good time for everybody. The children were entertained by a balloon artist, a magic show and a movie. Parents had the opportunity to shop for jewelry and clothing, while Valley View teacher Dana Coffin sold her homemade pottery. A portion of all sales was donated to raise money for the school.
Sixth graders had fun scaring everyone in the school’s famous haunted house, decorated and sponsored by the sixth grade parents. Fourth graders sold Kona Ice, and fifth graders participated with a snack shack and face painting.
