3000 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Crescenta, a 22-year-old woman was arrested for being under the influence in public after deputies responded to a call concerning a woman walking around the store acting strange. According to the report the woman told deputies that she had used methamphetamine earlier in the day.

The arrest was made at 7 p.m.

La Crescenta Avenue and Foothill Boulevard in La Crescenta, a 36-year-old man was cited for driving without a valid California driver’s license, no proof of vehicle insurance, failure to stop at a stoplight and using a phone while driving.

The traffic stop was made at 10:30 a.m.

4800 block of Vineta Avenue in La Cañada, a resident was awakened by the sound of the exterior French door handles to the bedroom being pulled on. He woke his wife, who was in the bedroom with him, and they saw a beam from a large flashlight shine into the bedroom. The light immediately turned away from the area and the door handle stopped moving. The resident got out of bed to look outside. He reported seeing two flashlight beams being carried by two suspects running away from the bedroom area and toward the backyard gate at 12:20 a.m.

Oct. 26

2400 block of Upper Terrace in La Crescenta, a package was stolen from the front of a home between noon on Oct. 26 and 8:10 a.m. on Oct. 27.

Oct. 21

3000 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Crescenta, a woman, described as Middle Eastern descent, entered a store, selected several items and walked to the cashier counter. She paid for the items and, as the employee went to another register, she reached on top of the counter, picked up a drone helicopter from a display and placed it in her purse. She left without attempting to pay for the helicopter.

The incident occurred at 11:55 a.m.
