August 2
4800 block of Hill Street in La Cañada two motorcycles were stolen from a locked garage between 10 a.m. and 4:25 p.m.
3500 block of Foothill Boulevard in Glendale, a 31-year-old La Crescenta man was arrested on suspicion of possession of a narcotic after officers stopped him driving on Foothill Boulevard. Officers allegedly found evidence of what they believe to be methamphetamine and 68 prescription pills in the suspect’s possession. He was also arrested for transporting narcotics/ controlled substance with the intent to sell. He was arrested at 5:38 p.m.
Honolulu Avenue and Wickham Way in Montrose, a 24-year-old La Crescenta man was arrested on suspicion of possession of a narcotic and being in possession of identification and credit cards that did not belong to him. He was arrested at 3:27 p.m.

August 1
2200 block of Honolulu Avenue in Montrose, a laptop was stolen from the second floor office of the Color Me Mine store. According to the owner, he had left the store the night prior, July 31, but the store remained open because the business was hosting a church event. His employees reportedly locked the doors at the end of the night and left. The next morning the owner discovered his upstairs office had one drawer disturbed and the laptop was gone. The incident happened overnight.
2300 block of Panorama Drive in La Crescenta, someone broke the window of a home overnight.

July 31
2000 block of Verdugo Boulevard in Glendale, an employee of Vons Market reported seeing two men enter the store, grab a black hand basket and begin to shop. They grabbed a pack of hamburger buns and several packages of razors then exited without attempting to pay. The first suspect is described as a Middle Eastern man in his 20s, 5’6” to 5’ 10”, thin build with short brown hair and a mustache. The second suspect was described as a Middle Eastern man in his 20’s, 5’8” to 5’10”, medium build with a light short beard. He was wearing a black T-shirt with the words Athletic Department in white letters on the front, blue jeans and black athletic shoes.
3800 block of Foothill Boulevard in Glendale, a 28-year-old Tujunga man was arrested on suspicion of possession of a narcotic after his vehicle was stopped at 10:44 a.m.
2800 block of Honolulu Avenue in Montrose, a 23-year-old Tujunga man was arrested on suspicion of possession of a narcotic after his vehicle was stopped at 6:11 p.m.

July 29
800 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada Flintridge, a 27-year-old La Crescenta man was arrested for driving on a suspended license at 8:20 a.m.

July 27
400 Knight Way in La Cañada, the Paradise Canyon Elementary School was vandalized with spray painted graffiti overnight.

July 26
600 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada, a witness/employee reported he saw two suspects, described as black, in their late 30s, both with short black hair, take five bottles of champagne from a shelf in Vons Market and hide them under their clothing. The suspects noticed the witness and walked around the store then toward the exit. The witness reportedly approached them and asked them about the champagne. They said they had nothing and walked out.  Later employees discovered the champagne bottles near a display the suspects had been standing next to at 9:05 p.m.
