Rosemont Middle School, in a school-wide effort, collected more than 130 shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child (a project of the Samaritan’s Purse organization). Donations of shoeboxes already filled with toys and gifts arrived in addition to individual items. Student helpers spent time Friday boxing these up and decorating the shoeboxes.

Builders Club members received credit for any filled shoeboxes they donated. Office staff and administration decided to participate in the drive in lieu of exchanging gifts with one another this year.

Sheri Robinson, school librarian, and Susan Stefun, health clerk, loaded the boxes up in a truck on Friday afternoon and dropped the filled boxes off at CV Church (at La Crescenta and Piedmont avenue), which participates in this campaign each year.
