A driver who was traveling southbound in the 3300 block of Verdugo Road on the afternoon of Dec. 1 apparently lost control of her car. She hit a parked car on the shoulder on the west side of the street. The impact pushed the parked vehicle into another vehicle, which in turn sideswiped another car before coming to rest on the lawn. No one was injured.

The driver said some type of animal ran in front of her causing her to swerve and lose control of her vehicle hitting the first parked car, said Officer Torres, Glendale Police Dept.
