Glendale police responded to a call concerning a residential burglary in the 3900 block of Santa Carlotta Avenue on Wednesday afternoon. GPD officers arrived and were able to detain two of the three suspects.
The search for the other suspect involved several hours of investigation throughout the neighborhoods between Pali and Lowell avenues. GPD, Los Angeles police and several canine units were part of the search.
The third suspect was discovered inside PetSmart in Tujunga, said Tahnee Lightfoot, GPD spokeswoman. “He was taken into custody.”
“We would like to thank the public for their assistance,” Lightfoot said.
She added many residents reposted the information of the burglary and search on social media, were aware and notified the department of suspicious activity.
