Ron Pearson, renowned comedian, headlined La Cañada Presbyterian Church’s Parent Education annual benefit on Saturday. More than 125 people were entertained as Pearson brought levity and a lot of laughter to the challenges facing parents with children of all ages. Pearson’s performance ended with a standing ovation after he successfully juggled atop a unicycle, accomplishing the seemingly impossible – much like parenting. The benefit was emceed by Pearson and Rev. Dr. Chuck Osburn and raised a record amount of money through underwriting, donations, opportunity drawing and live and online auctions for LCPC’s popular Parent Education Program. The benefit was held at Vertigo Event Venue in Glendale.
