The Crescenta Valley High School Athletic Hall of Fame will be held May 20 at Oakmont Country Club, and will highlight 12 new inductees, including former football coach and boys’ athletic director Jim Beckenhauer and the 1999 boys’ CIF championship swim team.
Other inductees will be Doug English (volleyball), Tom Gossard (girls’ tennis coach), Allen Holmquist (basketball), Adam Jacobsen (basketball), Keith Kinsel (golf), Baillie Kirker (softball), Aaron McGuinness (baseball/football), Mike Norseth (football/basketball/baseball), Amanda Peek (softball) and Kenny Pritchett (football).
There will be an open house before the event at Crescenta Valley High School, 2900 Community Ave. in La Crescenta, from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. The ceremony at Oakmont will begin shortly after 6 p.m.
The cost for those wishing to attend the Hall of Fame induction is $60. Seating is limited. No walk-ins and guests under 18 are limited to children of inductees. For more information, write to CV Hall of Fame, 2708 Foothill Blvd. #353, La Crescenta, CA 91214.
