The Sharp International Cheer Competition was held on April 1 at Monrovia High School. The Crusaders cheerleaders of St. James-Holy Redeemer School, under the leadership of Coach Jianni Soto and advisor Christine Pappas, won first place in the Elementary Cheer, Intermediate Level, Large Show Cheer division. They also received the Best Sportsmanship Award in their category.
