CVI bids farewell to Marilyn Ginn

Marilyn Ginn

After 25-plus years at Crescenta Valley Insurance, Marilyn Ginn will be retiring at the end of August. She has held various positions at CVI over the years including customer service representative, senior underwriter, sales agent and office manager.
Originally hired by Gene Johnson, Marilyn was instrumental to the success of Crescenta Valley Insurance over the years. According to CVI President Rick Dinger, things have changed dramatically in the office since her start at CVI. For instance, Dinger said, when she started there wasn’t a fax machine and there was only one computer for 12 employees. Now CVI boasts a “green/file-less” office and Marilyn was instrumental in helping the office make the painful transition. Her dedication and loyalty will be missed.
Dinger, who is the son of CVI co-founder Virgil Dinger, said, “Marilyn is one of a kind and has been a rock for our clients.”
As a resident of Castaic, she is looking forward to spending less time commuting in traffic and more time with her pug dogs. Plans for her retirement party are under way.
