Mike, 57, was a loving and caring person who endeared himself to all who met him. He graduated from Verdugo Hills High School, was a (fireman) Hot Shot before moving on to his passion: keeping things living as an interior landscaper for over 25 years.
Mike is survived by his wife of 23 years Mary Ann; mother Doris Kloeppel Accosta (Brad); brothers Tim (Dena), John, and nephew and niece Adam and Jacquelyn; two stepsons John and Christopher; three grandchildren Anthony, Brandon and Cecilia, plus aunts, uncles and cousins and  many, many friends.
A remembrance and celebration of Mike’s life will be held Aug. 28 at his childhood home at 9801 Cabanas in Tujunga at 4:00 p.m.
May God bless and carry Mike to his final home. Mike’s spirit and love will be with us always.  He will carry on in our hearts forever.  We will miss him dearly.
