Vincent Villard passed away peacefully on May 30 in Glendale.
Vincent, aka “Jim,” was born in Buffalo, New York on April 30, 1929.
His family moved out to Los Angeles where he later met and married Wanda Jean. They eventually moved up to the small town of Montrose where they settled down to raise a family and lived for the past 60-plus years. Vincent loved to dance, sing and spend time with his grandkids.
Vincent is survived by his daughter Jan Morrissey, son-in-law Dave Morrissey; four grandchildren: Michael Sloan, Cheyenne, Nolan and Bryce Morrissey; brother Sam Vilardo; and a few nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his two sons Mike and Vince, and his wife Wanda Jean.
Services are as follows: Visitation on Thursday, June 15 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Crippen Mortuary, 2900 Honolulu Ave. in La Crescenta.
Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 16 at 10:30 a.m. at the San Fernando Mission Church at the San Fernando Mission Rey de Espana in Mission Hills. There will be a celebration of life for Vincent after the services; the details will be announced at the cemetery.
