This Week at LCIF
The community is invited to join Lutheran Church in the Foothills at its 10 a.m. worship service on Sunday, June 18 when Fathers’ Day is celebrated. Pastor Scott Peterson’s sermon is titled “Get Out!” Nursery care is provided during the service for infants through toddlers and Children’s Church is available for children through sixth grade.
Registration continues for Vacation Bible School online at www.lcifoothills.org/VBS. VBS will be from July 24-28 from 9 a.m. to noon. Children entering kindergarten through sixth grade are invited to enter the Maker Fun Factory where they’ll discover that we are “Created by God and Built for a Purpose!”

Vacation Bible School  
Bethel Church in Sun Valley is hosting Cave Quest Vacation Bible School for kids finishing kindergarten through eighth grades on July 10-14 from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.! Kids are invited to follow Jesus’ light as we go through difficult times. We’ll sing fun songs, play awesome games, learn about exciting Bible stories, enjoy wacky experiments, and hear about how other kids overcome challenges while eating tasty snacks!

Shadow Hills Presbyterian Church Annual Rummage Sale
Shadow Hills Presbyterian Church will host its 14th Annual Rummage Sale on Saturday, June 17 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. All are invited for a day of shopping in the church’s large parking lot and in its Treasure Room. There will be adult and children’s clothes, accessories, kitchenware, glassware, linens, small appliances, tools, furniture, books, knick-knacks, costume jewelry, collectibles, and much more for sale.  
Show up early (early bird special from 7:30 a.m. to 8 a.m. – $5 donation) and be the first to buy these great items in the parking lot or Treasure Room.

Ladies’ Tea & Testimony
LA County Teen Challenge Volunteers Guild and Summit Christian Church are hosting a Ladies’ Tea & Testimony on Saturday, June 24 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Summit Christian Church. Tickets are $20 per person; RSVP requested by June 17. Proceeds benefit LA County Teen Challenge women.
