The City of Glendale’s Commission on the Status of Women is holding a Dress for Success Accessories Drive through Friday, June 30. The CSW will accept new and gently used professional, business appropriate accessories – shoes, handbags, jewelry and scarves.

These donations can be dropped off Monday – Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Fridays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Glendale City Hall 613 E. Broadway, Suite 200, Glendale. Anyone who cannot make these drop off days/times may contact the CSW to make special arrangements.

Items will be donated to Dress for Success Worldwide – West, Los Angeles, an international nonprofit organization that empowers women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire, and the development tools to help women thrive in work and in life. While Dress for Success provides clothing to its clients, this drive focuses solely on accessories, as that is the organization’s biggest need. As such, clothing will not be accepted during this drive.
