MARKET ASSESSMENT

Mary Dawson’s article regarding the Sunday Montrose Harvest Market [“Summer Bounty at the Montrose Harvest Market,” July 22] was on the money. Besides what the vendors sell there are some wonderful people who work there. Louie the avocado man will sell you right on ripe fruit or one that you can wait a day or two on. Lenny G’s is great for Cajun food or just to visit with Gordon, the owner.
Then there are Michelle and Dean, married almost a year, who own Sun Canyon Beads. Really nice custom jewelry. Don and Rick, the treasure and book men, are fun to talk with and really know their stuff. So besides really great produce and good deals the Market has provided us with nice, friendly vendors to visit with every week.
Thanks Montrose Harvest Market for some very nice friends.
