While the store employees were distracted tending to all of the requests, Suspect No. 1, described as 30-to-35 years old with long black hair and at the time was wearing a long black skirt, snuck behind the counter and removed a large amount of jewelry from the open safe, hiding the items in a hidden pocket of her skirt. The suspect left when confronted by an employee and was quickly followed out by the remaining suspects.

The suspects were last seen running southbound on Market Street and then eastbound in the alley south of Honolulu Avenue.

The other three suspects were described as a man, 28-to-32 years old with a heavy build, black goatee and at the time wearing a camouflage floppy hat; a woman 45-to-50 years old with an average build and at the time wearing a multi-colored head scarf; a woman 20-to-25 years old with a thin build and at the time was wearing a maroon headscarf with sparkles.

All suspects spoke with an unknown accent.
