The Early Bird Gets the Worm…

In this case, the “worm” is your ticket to Montrose’s 1st Annual Holiday Wine Walk on Saturday, Nov. 4 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. … and the “early bird” could be you!  

In case you missed it, we held our first ever Wine Walk here in the Montrose Shopping Park on Saturday, March 18 and we not only sold out, we oversold! The response from the public, as well as from our own merchants, was “Do it again!”  And so we shall.

Co-sponsored once again by the La Crescenta Woman’s Club, here’s what you can expect. Picture the beautiful Shopping Park, its many trees lighted with thousands of little white lights guiding you on your journey from one pouring station to another, while you stroll to the holiday strains of live music in every block. More than 25 Shopping Park businesses have already signed on to serve you tastings of their selected wines alongside scrumptious hors d’oeuvres while you peruse their unique goods and services. It’s like having more than two-dozen simultaneous open house festivities all within three-blocks!  

Tickets are on sale now on our website at www.shopmontrose.com. Don’t wait … be that “early bird” and claim your “worm.” Quantities are limited and we will sell out! For your $45 ticket, you will receive at check-in your wristband, a Shopping Park logo tote bag containing Wine Walk tickets good for 15 pours, a holiday souvenir wine glass, a map book of who is pouring what and where, and $10 in Shopping Park scrip that you spend any time – it never expires! Purchase your tickets early … as in “early bird.”  

Our Sunday Market this week features kosher dill pickles, sun-kissed green beans and delicious finger limes. Music will be a crowd favorite . . . Gremoli Band will be back to play ragtime. Most Shopping Park shops and restaurants are open during Market hours. Montrose is the place to be this Sunday!
