Dine Out Night
There is a dine out benefitting the Crescenta Valley Instrumental Music Dept. on Wednesday, Nov. 15 from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Gardenia Market Deli & Pizzeria. Menu options include pizza (as enjoyed at the school’s “pizza wars” fundraiser), deli sandwiches, salads and Lebanese specialties!
A percentage of all purchases will be donated to the CVIM when mentioning the fundraiser!

Free Friends & Family Show
The La Cañada High School marching band invites the community to the Friends & Family Show on Friday, Nov. 17 at 6 p.m. at the La Cañada High School Stadium. This is the final home performance of the Marching Spartans 2017 field show, “Rapunzel.” The show features music from Edvard Grieg’s “Peer Gynt Suite” and Radiohead’s “Creep.” The band and color guard will be led on the field by Senior Drum Major Bryan Guan. This year’s show puts forth champion showmanship … there’s even Rapunzel’s tower with 55 feet of her hair!
The band will leave Friday, following the show, to compete in the Western Band Association Championships in Clovis.
Admission is free.
