Celebrating Thanksgiving at Dunsmore

First grade students provided history information

Dunsmore Elementary School continued its Thanksgiving tradition of having the first grade students perform for parents. First grade teachers Theresa Cortes, Joseph Sloane and Rain Gibney practiced traditional Thanksgiving songs, such as “Over the River” and chants, “Gobble, Gobble,” with their students in anticipation of the Thanksgiving break.

First grade students took turns and explained the origins and history of Thanksgiving and humored the audience with funny turkey songs.
