In gratitude for your service, your local American Legion and Veteran of Foreign Wars (VFW) Posts, in concert with our national organizations, are here to serve you. We are available to help you file for benefits claims, get answers for your health care, help you with your GI Bill benefits, assist you in job research, assist you in correcting your military records or discharge status, provide support for homeless veterans and much more.

The American Legion Post 288 has its monthly meeting on the first Wednesday of each month at 7:30 p.m. The VFW Post 1614 has its monthly meeting on the third Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. Join us to share your experience and meet your military comrades. You may also Join us for a free breakfast the second Saturday of each month from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Families are welcome, membership is not a requirement.
