Los Angeles County Fire Dept. and Los Angeles Sheriff’s Dept. –  Crescenta Valley station responded to a call at a home in the 4700 block of La Crescenta Avenue on Thursday night around 7 p.m.

According to Lt. Jacobs, CV Sheriff’s Station, an 89-year-old woman had passed away.

“There was nothing suspicious,” Jacobs said.

As is LASD protocol, the Homicide Unit did respond to the location but there was no foul play suspected, she added.
