The 26th Annual Breakfast with Santa, sponsored by the La Crescenta Woman’s Club Juniors, was held on Saturday. The celebration included entertainment by the Crescenta Valley High School Charismatics, crafts for kids, face painting, Glendale firefighters from Station 28 and lots of cookies.
But it was the appearance of the big man himself that made the morning special.
“It is the excitement of the kids seeing Santa,” said Julia Robles, chairwoman of Breakfast with Santa, of her favorite part of the event.
There were about 160 people who attended the breakfast. The funds raised through ticket sales and donations will help the LCWC throughout the year with its philanthropic projects.
In addition, the Reptacular Ranch brought some of its animals to entertain the children. The Ranch lost its home due to the fires, and at the breakfast the LCWC Juniors took up a collection for the animals. For those who would like to help the facility, visit https://www.gofundme.com/reptacular.
