Christmas Concert
La Cañada Congregational Church presents a Christmas concert on Sunday, Dec. 17 at 4 p.m.
There will be a selection of choral carols and Pinkham’s “Christmas Cantata” for mixed chorus, brass quartet and organ. Soloists include soprano Vera Lugo, mezzo-soprano Christina Thomas, tenor Russell Smith and baritone Paul Keilbach. Joseph Klice is organist and Harold Daugherty will be conducting.
Freewill offering to be collected to benefit music fund.
Free childcare and reception follows.

This Week at LCIF
All are invited to Lutheran Church in the Foothills on Sunday, Dec. 17 at 10 a.m. for the third Sunday of Advent. The Anthem Chorale will lead an Advent service of song. Then all are invited for a special time of food and fellowship as the choir shares its famous dessert buffet.
At 7 p.m., award-winning singer/songwriter (and LCIF music minister) Mark Anzelon will be joined by Jade Starleaf for a concert called “Life Songs.” All are welcome and it’s free to attend.
Then on Wednesday, Dec. 20, LCIF will host a special Advent worship at 7 p.m. called “Longest Night Service” that will finish around 8 p.m. All are welcome!

Christmas Worship  
Bethel Church is planning special Christmas Eve worship services at 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Dec. 24. The 10 a.m. service will feature music of the season, an intriguing live drama and a Christmas meditation. The 5 p.m. candlelight service will include presentation of lessons and carols.  
Gifts will be offered to each child and family attending. Refreshments served after the service. Free – all are welcome!

Christmas Celebration
Inspiring music and the simple peace of the Gospel will be presented as part of the Christmas celebration at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Sunday, Dec. 24 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. All are invited.
