Mandatory evacuations are issued for the following areas to approximately 300 residences: Kagel Canyon, Lopez Canyon, and Little Tujunga Canyon.
Los Angeles Fire Dept., California Highway Patrol, the Red Cross, and Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Dept. are assisting with evacuations due to the rain and damage from the recent fires in the #CreekFire and the #FishFire areas.
Deputy personnel and support staff from various Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Dept. stations are working to evacuate residents and assist with road closures due to the heavy rains and possible mudslides in various locations.
Residents in affected areas are asked to remain vigilant and prepare for evacuations.
Please prepare a go-bag containing:
• Identification
• Medication
• Food and water
• Important documents, such as birth certificates, marriage certificates, passports, etc.)
• Any emergency supplies
• A change of clothes
• Toiletries
• Cellphone charger
