Yellow Ribbon Week Fun at Dunsmore

Jana Wells and her fifth graders show off their spirit.

Dunsmore Elementary School celebrated Yellow Ribbon Week with a large dose of kindness. Teachers and students dressed up as cowboys and “rounded up the kindness” to spread throughout the community on Jan. 26.

A checklist of kindness and themes were provided each day:

Monday – Covered with Kindness – Students wore their favorite hat.

Tuesday – Team Up for Kindness – Students wore their favorite team jersey.

Wednesday – Wacky for Kindness – Students wore their favorite crazy socks or hairdo.

Thursday – Tied Together for Kindness – Students wore a tie or a tie-dyed T-shirt.

Friday – Round Up Kindness – Students wore their western wear.
