On Sept. 12, two Catholic sisters who live in St. James parish celebrated 50 years of service. Sister Pat Peach, B.V.M., and Sister Rita Basta, B.V.M.,  teach college level math. Sister Rita is the president of the St. James/Holy Redeemer school boards and works to enhance the new school model of kindergarten – fourth grade at St. James campus and fifth-eighth grades at Holy Redeemer campus.
