Collegewise Offers Insight into Essay Writing
Collegewise is hosting a free workshop on April 17 offering insider advice and insight into tackling college essay writing. The workshop is from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Pasadena Public Library, Central Library – Children’s Story Room, 285 E. Walnut St.

 

Character Building Organizations for Kids
Trail Life and American Heritage Girls are hosting an ice cream social on Monday, April 23 at 6:30 p.m. This Christ-centered group serves kids ages 5-18 years old. Meetings take place on Mondays from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., September thru May.
Trail Life USA is an outdoor adventure, leadership and character-building program for boys. Its mission is to “Guide generations of courageous young men to honor God, lead with integrity, serve others, and enjoy outdoor adventure.”
American Heritage Girls is a character development organization for young women that offers girls leadership, life skill enhancement, confidence building, spiritual development, etc. The mission statement is “Building women of integrity through service to God, family, community, and country.”
Trail Life and American Heritage Girls meet at First Baptist Church, 4413 La Crescenta Ave.
