Country Fair and Dog Parade

The Hometown Country Fair is only two weeks away! We’ve got a great lineup of entertainment for kids, adults, teens and even pets. Be sure to mark your calendar for this free event on Saturday, April 21 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the beautiful, oak-filled Crescenta Valley Park.

Crescenta Valley’s annual dog parade will once again take place during the Hometown Country Fair! Doggy check-in starts at 11:30 a.m. with the parade starting around 12:15 p.m. It’s free to participate but donations are gratefully accepted and benefit local animal support groups. Dress up your dog for the big parade! Prizes will be awarded.

Get ready to wow your friends with your vocal prowess. The Hometown Country Fair is calling all kids (18 and under) to register for the karaoke contest! To register, visit our website at www.crescentavalleychamber.org/fair. Contest is limited to 10 entries. The Hometown Country Fair will be held on Saturday, April 21 at Crescenta Valley Park, 3901 Dunsmore Ave.

There is still time to get in on the action at the Hometown Country Fair! Both vendor and non-profit vendor booths are still available! Please visit our website at www.crescentavalleychamber.org/fair or call the office at (818) 248-4957.

Businesses continue to join the Crescenta Valley Chamber of Commerce. Allow us to introduce Pump and Splash!

The Chamber would like to welcome David and Aileen Chase of Pump and Splash! They started this business in 2011. Aileen said she joined the Chamber so they can be a part of the business community. She wants to network with other business owners who share the day-to-day hopes, dreams and struggles that are part of owning a business and to share ideas and get to know other business owners.

Pump and Splash offers a unique way for preschoolers to have fun with water. These kid-powered water pumps are great for preschool parties, birthday parties, church events and much more! Kids love to operate these and crank the easy-to-operate handles. Once the water flows … watch out! Wheels turn, buckets tip and fountains spray! These are a great way to keep cool in a drought-friendly way because these pumps re-circulate water so the water waste is minimal. You can check out their website at www.PumpandSplash.com.
