Meet New Members

The mixer at Coldwell Banker Hallmark Realty may have been held in a small venue, but nonetheless it was a huge success! Allow us to introduce our new member, Tina Amirganian of Coldwell Banker Hallmark Realty, located at 2315 Foothill Blvd. in La Cañada.

Tina Amirganian is a real estate agent and has worked for Coldwell Banker Hallmark Realty for the last four years. She just won the Sterling Society Award for sales performance. She is among the top 15% out of 92,000 Coldwell Banker agents.

When asked why she joined the Chamber she replied, “I grew up here and I live here, it just seemed like a natural step.”

She went on to say, “I love this town and wanted to join the Chamber to give back to the community that has given me so much.”

Being a supporter of local businesses, she wants to meet and network with other business owners. Tina has honored her commitment to give back to the community by holding our April mixer at Coldwell Banker Hallmark Realty. She also has a booth at our upcoming Hometown Country Fair on Saturday, April 21.

All of us are too familiar these days with junk everywhere. Who doesn’t embrace the idea of a junk-free planet? Well, allow us to introduce Pernell Hill of A Junk Free Planet. Pernell started his business in 2010. When asked why he joined the Chamber, he replied that he heard it was the first thing to do when starting a business. He also said that being a member of the Chamber of Commerce gives a business better credibility. Pernell is a local resident and wants to help by removing trash for folks here in La Crescenta and Burbank.

So what is this business about? Well, in a word: junk. Hauling away junk and trash including construction debris, green waste, garage clean-out and even hot tub removal. Guess what? Our Hometown Country Fair is this weekend! Here is a list of the entertainment we have planned: Rosemont Middle School Jazz Band, Rosemont Spartan Cheer Squad, Faith Alone Band, Desperate Measures Band, Hiza Yoo Korean Dance, Arthur Murray dancers, Parade of Cars, dog parade and a pie eating contest!

Be sure and bring your appetite with you because there will be food. Plenty of food trucks will be on hand offering something for everyone: Jack’s Cuisine, The Tropic Truck, All American Softy, Cocina Fresca, Panzerotti, Slammin’ Sliders and Waffle Oh.
