The Glendale Police Dept. is seeking the public’s assistance with identifying the below suspect.
On Saturday, March 24 at 1:47 p.m., a customer was seated at an outside patio table at the Cheesecake Factory in the City of Glendale. The two suspects entered the patio area and walked to the table behind the victim. Suspect No. 1 took off his jacket and used it to conceal his actions as he removed the victim’s purse from her chair. He took out her wallet, removed credit cards and then used his jacket to conceal the purse as he placed it next to the victim’s chair. The suspects immediately left the restaurant and pretended to not know each other after exiting. As the victim was still seated at the restaurant, she received fraud alerts on her phone informing her of suspicious activity at the Glendale Nordstrom. The credit cards were used to purchase three Nordstrom gift cards for $1,000 each. The credit cards were also used to purchase gift cards at the Topanga Mall Nordstrom store.
Suspect No. 1 is described as a male, 30-37 years old with a medium build. Suspect No. 2 is described as a male, 50-57 years old, medium-heavy build with a mustache and goatee.
