Bingo Raises Funds for Sheriff’s Support Group
Those who love bingo, or just want to support the CV Sheriff’s Support Group, can head over the USC-VHH tomorrow, Friday, evening for an evening of bingo fun.
Reception is at 5 p.m., doors open at 6 p.m. and the first game is at 6:30. Tickets are $20. There will also be a live auction, food and wine reception.

Rosemont Preserve Open Gate Morning
Celebrate spring at the Rosemont Preserve “open gate” event on Sunday, May 6 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. This is a chance to visit the Rosemont Preserve and wander the trail, enjoying the tranquil setting, the wildlife and the natural beauty. Participate in the Rosemont Biodiversity Project and become a citizen scientist!
Friends of the Rosemont Preserve Committee members will be available to answer questions and show this community resource.
The Preserve is located at the north end of Rosemont Avenue, just past the chain link fence. As street parking is limited, park at Two Strike Park, 5107 Rosemont Ave, La Crescenta, and then walk north two blocks to enter the Rosemont Preserve. Please bring water and wear sturdy shoes to walk the trail.
This event is free to the public and suitable for all ages. No reservations required, no pets please.

‘Marco Millions’ Opens in GCC Studio Theatre
Eugene O’Neill’s “Marco Millions” will be staged by the Glendale Community College Theatre Arts Dept. in the Auditorium Studio Theatre for eight performances beginning today, May 3.
“Marco Millions” is the story of Marco Polo, the young explorer of the Far East, as told by one America’s leading playwrights. O’Neill clearly takes aim at the politics of his time, and ends up with a beautiful and poignant allegory for all time.
Performances of “Marco Millions” will be held at 8 p.m. on May 3, 4, 5, 10, 11 and 12. Sunday matinees at 2 p.m. are May 6 and 12. Tickets are $15 general admission and $12 for students and seniors. They can be purchased online at www.glendalearts.org or at the college box office in the Auditorium and other Glendale locations.
