Phyllis Harb is shown receiving a Certificate of Recognition for her leadership in the recent St. Joseph’s Table event sponsored by the Italian Catholic Federation Branch 374 at St. Bede the Venerable Roman Catholic Church. Through her efforts, ICF experienced its most successful fundraiser in years.
Presenting the award is Jack DeZell, branch president, who noted that Harb’s efforts went beyond the call of duty making it possible for the branch to increase its donations to Children’s Hospital that works with victims of Cooley’s Anemia, provide scholarships to students, and fund the education of priests at St. John Seminary.
ICF meets monthly on the third Sunday of each month at 5 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Montrose. Membership is open to Catholics and their spouses and children. Currently the branch is building membership from young families in the parish and nearby parishes.
