Beginning in April, Valley View Elementary students in transitional kindergarten through third grade began a six-week dance program sponsored by the Valley View PTA. Students learned different dance styles in each grade level by working with Liz Porter and Charlotte Smith from Revolution Dance Center.

To create excitement for the students and inspire them prior to the classes they attended an assembly by the performance group Concrete Allstars. The Concrete Allstars is a world famous breakdancing crew from Los Angeles. They have been dancing together as a group for over 14 years.

Valley View Elementary will showcase the hard work of the first through third grade classes at the All Star Eagle Day award assembly on May 24.
