Welcome, Jill Geringer

The Montrose~Verdugo City Chamber of Commerce would like to introduce business owner Jill Geringer. Jill is the owner of JK Steam Spa located at 2418 Honolulu Ave., Suite L, in Montrose. This quaint and relaxing business is located in the Montrose Village Square. You have surely passed it when walking along the 2400 block of Honolulu Avenue.

Jill grew up in the Montrose area and has stayed in the Crescenta Valley area for most of her life. She too is a graduate of Crescenta Valley High School.

“[I have] always loved this area and when it came time for me to open my own business in 2015 I was lucky to find a place right in my hometown of Montrose,” Jill said.

She has been an aesthetician for over 15 years. She originally started a career as a registered dental assistant and did that for almost 30 years. When she was looking to change her career she knew one thing – she really wanted to continue to work with people in a positive and uplifting way. That is when she found the world of aesthetics.

Something that she really enjoys doing: “pampering people, and most people love being treated to that pampering.”

Jill also said that her location on Honolulu Avenue “is a quiet and peaceful place where you can come and relax and, of course, pamper yourself. I thoroughly enjoy being around people and helping them with the issues they may have with their skin or just provide them some relaxation and a pampering facial.”

JK Steam also provides services in facials – PCA skin care treatments – waxing, make-up services (including traveling to special locations, preparing for an evening on the town, bridal make-up and/or offering tips for those wanting make-up pointers), hair color and cuts. JK Steam also sells cosmetic and beauty supplies and gift certificates.

JK Steam carries several different product lines. One that Jill personally fell in love with is PCA Skincare.

“It has had amazing results,” she said. “As soon as [the products] were introduced to my clients they also saw the same amazing results in their skin.”

She recommends PCA Skincare to anyone who is interested in making some changes with reasonably priced products.

Jill is available most days and works by appointment. She personally invites you to “come and see my space … and treat yourself to a facial. I believe a facial is something we all should do for ourselves once in a while and just have a little escape from everyday life.”
