Sheriff’s deputies responded yesterday, Wednesday, at 11 a.m. to an alarm activation at a home in the 2900 block of Los Olivos in La Crescenta. When they arrived they discovered the home had been burglarized. A Ring camera system recorded the image of a male Hispanic on the porch and leaving the home in a white BMW with dealer plates (photo below). The CV Sheriff’s Station has since received several phone calls regarding the BMW and are actively investigating.

Among the items taken were a safe and memory books the homeowner had compiled of her sons. Via social media, the homeowner has asked residents in the area to keep an eye open for these books in case they are disposed of in nearby trashcans.
