Homecoming weekend for Crescenta Valley students

The crowning of seniors Bogart Avila and Raleigh NeJame (top left and right) at the homecoming game on Friday night kicked off homecoming festivities which culminated in a dance on Saturday.

Crescenta Valley High School students came by limo, party bus or their own transportation to dance the night away last Saturday at the annual homecoming dance held at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium. A DJ kept the music playing from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. as kids swayed, jumped and freaked the evening on the dance floor. When tuckered out, the kids sat and talked at tables placed nearby or played at the casino that was set up for the night.
Homecoming king Bogart Avila and queen Raleigh
NeJame, who were crowned the night before at the
homecoming football game, wore their crowns as they shared the evening with friends.
