The Crescenta Valley High School volleyball program will enter this fall with a new look to go with its new schedule.
Matt Simons is the new varsity coach, as well the frosh-soph coach. Simons previously coached Calabasas High School, where he was Marmonte League Coach of the Year in 2015. Calabasas won 11 tournament championships in his time at the school.
Coach Simons serves as the club director and head coach for Club Koa, a San Fernando-based volleyball club. In 2017, Simons led his 16s team to a top-15 finish overall in Southern California Volleyball Association, as well as appearances in the championship bracket at the Las Vegas Classic and the SCVA National Qualifier. The 2018 season will mark Coach Rossi’s first year at CV, having previously served as an assistant coach at Reseda High School.
