Crescenta Valley High School senior Claudia Pham won the Girls 3 Mile Run Cross Country Varsity 1 event at the Staub/Barnes Cross Country Invitational that was held on Oct. 2 at Crescenta Valley Park. She completed the time in 18:55:00 followed by Vanessa Lopez of Highland High School, 19:00.00, then in third fellow Falcon Anneke Kakebeen, 19:02.00.
Other CVHS girls with strong showings in the event were Cali King who placed sixth at 19:38.00, Erika Johnson placed ninth at 19:41.00 and senior Brooke Moultrie who placed twelfth with

19:49.00 on the clock.
