The La Crescenta Woman’s Club is preparing for its annual author’s luncheon taking place on Tuesday, Nov. 8 at the La Cañada Flintridge Country Club. This year authors include Dianne Dixon, a television writer who has won the Humanities Prize for Excellence in Screenwriting, will discuss her first novel, “The Language of Secrets;” Ronald C. White, Jr., who has authored, among others, the best seller, “A. Lincoln: A Biography;” and Gregg Hurwitz, creator of many international thrillers and is presently the consulting producer on ABC’s “V.”
