Sept. 16
3100 block of Harmony Place in La Crescenta, a woman reported placing mail on her mailbox intending for it to be picked up by the mail carrier the next day. She also left clothing and a DVD player inside a paper bag on her porch. When she returned the mail and the paper bag with the items had been taken.
The incident occurred between 8:20 a.m. and 10:55 a.m.

Sept. 12
2500 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Crescenta, a man parked his car and, when he returned, found a parking ticket on his windshield and the passenger side window shattered. His factory-installed radio had been stolen. The deputy contacted the parking enforcement officer who told him he did not see any damage to the vehicle when he issued the citation.
The vehicle burglary occurred between 8:46 a.m. and 11:36 a.m.

2100 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada, a man reported that as he was trying on shoes at the Ross store he placed his sunglasses next to him on a bench. He walked away then remembered the glasses and when he came back they were gone. Surveillance footage shows a man walking past the glasses several times, then returning, picking the glasses up and walking away.
The theft occurred at 9:35 a.m.

Sept. 9
4400 block of Oak Grove Drive in La Cañada, two batteries were stolen from a school’s vehicle at La Cañada High School at 9 p.m.

Sept. 8
2800 block of Altura Avenue in La Crescenta, a deputy responded to a family disturbance at the location. Two men, later found to be brothers, were yelling at each other. One man reported that his brother had thrown a brick through the windshield of his vehicle. The man continued to yell as the deputy attempted to get more information. Later the sister of the brothers arrived but did not give any information to the deputy.
This is apparently not the first time there has been a number of disturbances and unreported vandalism at the home. The vandalism to the vehicle occurred between Sept. 2 and Sept. 8.

Sept. 6
2500 block of Del Mar Road in Montrose, the rear tailgate was stolen from a vehicle between Sept. 6 at 3 p.m. and Sept. 7 at 11 a.m.
