The Friends of Rockhaven held its 5th Annual Member Meeting at the historic Montrose Bowl on Saturday, Sept. 22. This year’s event wasn’t a fundraiser, but was a way to thank the community for its support.

The Friends of Rockhaven was formed five years ago to learn about and teach the history of the historic Rockhaven Sanitarium, and to advocate on behalf of the community to get the park property opened to the public. Currently the City of Glendale is considering a proposal by the Gangi Design LED Build team to create a space with gardens, a restaurant, museum and business space in the 1920s-’30s buildings. No decision has been made yet.
